Liz primarily practices in family law. Throughout law school, Liz focused on family law and dispute resolution. She articled with a senior family and child protection lawyer in Ottawa and has extensive experience in these areas. Liz is also part of the collaborative family law practice group in Ottawa.
Before law school, Liz went to teacher’s college at Queen’s University and is a fully qualified high school teacher. Her background working with youth has led her to prioritize not only her client’s needs, but also those of any child involved.
Liz has extensive experience working with diverse groups of people and has a special interest in assisting LGBTQ+ clients and families.
When she’s not at the office, Liz has an active social life which often involves her two giant house cats, a mediocre book, and Netflix marathons. When Liz is not at home, you can find her playing badminton with David, practicing karate with her dad, or spending time with friends and family around the city.
If you have any questions about the type of work that Liz does, or if she is the right lawyer for you she would happy to arrange a consultation.
Liz accepts Ontario Legal Aid certificates for family and child protection matters.
